We are located in a quiet country village, 70 km (44 miles) southwest of Paris, roughly midway between Rambouillet and Chartres. For day trips to Versailles and Paris, you can drive or you can catch the train at our local station (Epernon), which is 10 minutes away.
However, there is no public transportation between our village and Epernon. You, therefore, need to have a car if you plan on staying with us.
A nonrefundable 25% booking deposit is due upon confirmation, with the balance payable upon arrival. The deposit can be made with Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

Cancellation policy:If you cancel all or any part of your booking prior to your arrival, or you fail to arrive within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival, the rental agreement will be nullified and you will forfeit your booking deposit.
Occupancy: The cottage is for groups of 4-8 occupants. Children and infants are counted as occupants.
Rental period:We have a 3-night minimum stay requirement, and the accommodation period can start on any day of the week, subject to availability.
Arrival/Departure:Check-in between 5 PM and 8 PM. The cottage must be vacated by 11 AM on the day of departure.
Breakfast: The cottage comes with basic breakfast provisions (coffee, tea, milk, sugar & preserves) to get you started.
Pets/Smoking:Sorry - Neither is allowed in the cottage.
One of the upstairs bedroomsThe two upstairs bedrooms are suites, comprising a bedroom, sitting area and private bathroom (shower).
One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has twin beds (which can be made into a queen bed). Each sitting area is equipped with a sofa bed (single) or foldaway bed.

Downstairs Room
Living room seen from hallwayThe downstairs room, our largest, is decorated in bright yellow tones and toile de Jouy fabrics.
It can be configured as the living room or as a double bedroom (twin or queen). It has an ensuite shower room.
It is spacious enough for a foldaway cot.

Kitchen/Dining Room
KitchenThe cottage has a fully fitted kitchen.
It comes with a refrigerator-freezer, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker.
Cookware, serving dishes and utensils are also provided.
Dining room tableA dining room is is located next to the kitchen. There is a dining room table, cutlery and tableware for eight.
Cottage du Potager
Located 50 meters from the château, at the rear of the main garden, sits the Cottage du Potager. This 125 sq. m. (1375 sq. ft.) self-catering accommodation used to be the gameskeeper’s house. It sleeps six and features two en suite studio bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs you’ll find a living room, kitchen and dining room. It also has a large private garden and a laundry room.

There is a full bathroom off the hallway leading to the living room.

There is a queen bed in the bedroom and the sofa in the sitting area can be converted into a single bed.
Cottage Rates
We’ve given a lot of though to our pricing because we’ve always found self-catering rates to be complicated and inflexible. That’s why there are just two rates — weekly and nightly — and they are all inclusive. There are no extra charges.
Minimum stay: 3 nights. Maximum capacity: 6 people.
Rates include all linens, utilities, internet, parking and taxes. They are valid until December 31, 2012.

There are two supermarkets less than 10 minutes away.
The nearest train station is 10 minutes away. Parking costs €1.50 for the day. It’s a 40 minute train ride into Paris (Montparnasse); 25 minutes to Versailles.
